Aura region: Caeli Energie, Wattalps and Mob-Energy rewarded at the iForum

During the last edition of the Grenoble event on December 8, which presents itself as one of the main European events supporting the development and financing of innovative companies, three start-ups from the Aura region were rewarded:

  • Caeli Energy (Meylan, Isère), which is developing a new type of air conditioner that is healthier for the environment, won public approval;
  • Mob Energy (Villeurbanne, Rhône) won the first investor prize. This start-up develops charging robots and recently launched a cube capable of charging 20 electric cars at the same time;
  • Wattalps (Moirans, Isère) was awarded the second prize for investors. It specializes in energy storage solutions.

Isère: French start-ups champions of the energy transition gathered in Grenoble

The French Tech in the Alps organized, this Tuesday, December 13 in Grenoble, the first Green20 Summit. This event brought together the French start-ups most committed to the energy transition, selected by the French Tech Mission to participate in the French Tech Green 20 program. Canopee, Deepki, DualSun, Entech, Eolink…

On the agenda for this summit, for business representatives, meetings with experts on issues related to growth and exchanges with players in the Grenoble ecosystem (ST, CEA, Schneider Electric).

The general public was able to discover these nuggets and their innovations at the end of the day, at the Stade des Alpes. The Grenoble sports arena was also the setting for a conference by Benjamin de Molliens. The adventurous entrepreneur was listened to by more than 450 people.

Isère: Teledyne E2V and the UGA Foundation renew their partnership

Teledyne E2v (Saint-Égrève) and the Fondation Université Grenoble Alpes signed a new sponsorship agreement this week, the third, for the next three years.

Specialized in the design and manufacture of high-performance electronic components and systems, particularly for the space market, Teledyne E2V supports, through this agreement, the Grenoble University Space Center (CSUG). The CSUG, inaugurated in 2015, aims “to become a central player in the development of miniaturized space instrumentation in France and Europe. It is positioned as an educational, scientific and technological platform.”

Among CSUG activities, Teledyne E2V will specifically support the QlevEr Sat project. The nano-satellite of this program will observe deforestation.

Isère: Memscap will sell its manufacturing plant in North Carolina

The microelectronics specialist based in Crolles announced in a press release the sale of its manufacturing plant based in North Carolina (United States). This was sold to Science Corporation, a Californian company developing cutting-edge technologies aimed at breaking down the boundaries between medical devices and consumer electronics.

Isère: Funcell, Cilkoa and Ficha join the 2023 promotion of the Citeo accelerator

Citeo has announced the winners of the 2023 class of its Circular Challenge impact accelerator, which supports innovative project leaders aimed at accelerating the circular economy of packaging and paper. Three companies from Isère will benefit from it:

  • funcell (Gières) which develops and produces biosourced additives improving the mechanical performance of paper and cardboard in the dry and wet state;
  • Cilkoa (Saint-Martin-d’Hères) specializes in the development of a “coating” for papers in order to give them barrier properties and water resistance while preserving the recyclability of the material;
  • filea Grenoble start-up that develops artificial intelligence algorithms to characterize the quality of waste in different environments. Vincent Hinault, co-founder of this young shoot, came to the Direct Entreprises set to present his company.

Isère: CCB Greentech’s CS2 construction system benefits from ATEx case A

The Beaurepaire-based company that imagined the TimberRoc concrete technology obtained the Technical Experimentation Appreciation (ATEx) case A for its CS2 construction principle. The latter concerns the construction of load-bearing wooden walls, marketed and produced by licensed prefabricators, then assembled on site. In a press release, Cédrik Longin, executive director of the company based in Beaurepaire, believes that this appreciation will allow “the use of TimberRoc wood concrete on many real estate projects in France”.

Mountain: Cimalpes records booking records this winter

The specialist in the sale and rental of high-end chalets and apartments in the Alps has announced that it has recorded booking records for the winter period. The network shows an occupancy rate close to 100% during New Year’s week. The number of reservations also doubled in the last week of January.

Ain: Airvance enters the capital of Pando2

The start-up Pando2, dedicated to the supervision and management of indoor and outdoor air quality, has announced that it has raised €1 million. And the main investor in this funding round is none other than the Airvance Group, designer and distributor of air treatment systems for buildings. With this merger, Pando2 will be able to rely on the Airvance Group to market its offer on the European continent.

Ardèche: Altheora raises more than €6 million

The specialist in the transformation of composite materials raised funds for a total amount of €6.71 million. Savoie: Valvita returns to growth

Bernard Riac, the managing director and founder of the private group Valvital, based in Aix-les-Bains, took stock of the year 2022. This center, with its 320 employees, remains the flagship in terms of volume, representing 40% of the group’s turnover in 2022. After two very difficult years, the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is the establishment’s first full season, with a 30% increase in spa guests, for a total of 19,900 visitors. »
