Palfinger announces a new collaboration with Ammann, Prinoth, Rosenbauer and TTControl as part of the Autonomous Operation Cluster (AOC). It aims to develop key technologies for off-road applications based on computer vision and artificial intelligence.

The Autonomous Operation Cluster (AOC) cross-industry collaboration aims to accelerate the development of advanced assistance functions to facilitate the work of operators, increase productivity and create more safety. As an enabler of autonomous operation functions, the AOC will address intelligent, autonomous operation of road construction equipment and off-road applications such as cranes, firefighting equipment and snow groomers. In these sectors, solutions based on computer vision and artificial intelligence help in the precise detection of objects and the processing of information from the surrounding environment.
