BMC announces the availability of new features and integrations for its BMC Automated Mainframe Intelligence (AMI) and BMC Compuware solution portfolios. Increase developer productivity and reduce delivery times

With the new BMC Compuware ISPW/Git integration, mainframe developer teams have the flexibility to fully adopt Git or use the ISPW feature branch-based sandbox for a fully controlled and isolated environment. to create and edit their code. With a simple right-click, Git users gain access to all of ISPW’s mainframe build, test, and deployment capabilities in their continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. By integrating the Veracode application with BMC Compuware Topaz Workbench, organizations can uncover security risks in mainframe applications early in the development cycle. The integration of Veracode allows developers to intervene upstream (Shift-Left approach) in order to locate security defects inside the code at the beginning of the development cycle, when the corrections are both more simple and less expensive.

Zero-Trust Security and Ransomware Protection

For the first time in mainframe environments, the BMC AMI Enterprise Connector for Illumio products enables users to successfully implement a Zero Trust solution by acting as a “two-way translator” between Illumio’s Zero Trust segmentation and the mainframe. In addition, the BMC AMI Command Center for Security system “reveals” malicious activity to security incident operators, reducing operational costs by automating password resets and relieving monitoring workloads from security to reduce user fees.
