SiPearl announced at the start of the week that it had reached the milestone of 100 employees at its 6 locations in France (Maisons-Laffitte, Grenoble, Massy, Sophia Antipolis), Germany (Duisbourg) and Spain (Barcelona). The company aims to have 1,000 employees by 2025; as a result, it indicates “intensify its recruitment strategy”. For once, we are going to put on the Pole Emploi – or France Travail en anticipation – hat by relaying this campaign, for two reasons.

A company founded in 2019
To briefly retrace its history, SiPearl was created in June 2019 by Philippe Notton as part of the European Processor Initiative (EPI) consortium. The latter aims to promote the deployment in Europe of high-performance, low-power microprocessor technologies.
SiPearl is a privately held company, but it has support from Europe. She works “in close collaboration with its 27 partners in the EPI consortium – scientific community, supercomputing centers, big names in computing, electronics and automotive – who are its stakeholders, future customers and end users”. Among its partners is Intel. The firm combines its Ponte Vecchio accelerator with SiPearl’s Rhea microprocessor.
SiPearl currently employs 104 microelectronics and software specialists, seniors and juniors from engineering schools or universities. The company has just been ranked 21st in the first edition of the TECH500, the list of 500 French technology companies to join in 2022.

In order to reach its objective of 1,000 employees in 2025, SiPearl will therefore “intensify its recruitment strategy launched a year ago. Positions in microelectronics (RTL and SOC design, DFT, verification, prototyping, synthesis, physical implementation) and software (design and architecture, embedded, Kernel Linux, UEFI/BIOS, High Performance Computing) are currently available. The company also offers internships and work-study programs for the 2022-2023 academic year to meet its future recruitment needs.
