SirionLabs acquires Zendoc and sets up a European center of excellence in Nice

Sirion Labsbased in Seattle, USA, is the global leader in contract lifecycle management (CLM) powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

The company announced the acquisition of Zendocthe Nice-based contract automation platform powered by artificial intelligence.

With this acquisition SirionLabs establishes in Europe a center of excellence within theAllianz Riviera accelerator in Nice.

This new center should also make it possible to attract European tech talent and stimulate research and development activities.

This acquisition reinforces Sirion’s leadership and commitment to the use of AI in its contract lifecycle management solutions.

The Zendoc team’s knowledge and experience in creating intuitive AI-powered solutions to manage contracts complements Sirion’s engineering and product know-how.

With this takeover Sirion is setting up a center of excellence (CoE) in Nice at the heart of the European “Silicon Valley”. This new center comes on top of the Sirion Center of Excellence recently opened in Toronto and supports the development of the company which a few months ago completed an $85M Series D financing with Partners Group.

“The war for talent is global, and we are thrilled to add such skilled professionals to the Sirion team and gain a foothold in a key region for technology development,” said Ajay Agrawal, co-founder and CEO of Sirion. “Their world-class expertise drives our data-centric approach to building a better, faster and more powerful CLM platform. »

Zendoc brings a team of talented engineers to Sirion who will focus on improving the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) for the Sirion CLM platform. This increased usability and focus on customer experience will strengthen Sirion’s leadership position in the CLM market.

Sirion’s Engineering Center of Excellence (CoE) in Nice enables the company to expand its presence in Europe, which continues to be a key market for business and talent.

Nice is globally recognized as a technology and education hub, making it an ideal location for Sirion’s new CoE.

The CoE R&D team in France, along with the CoE team in Toronto, will use customer feedback and insights to drive the next stage of Sirion’s product development and accelerate Sirion’s AI-driven trajectory. .

Key areas of focus include visualizing contract analysis and training the AI data model to meet the ever-changing needs of the agile enterprise.

Zendoc co-founder and CEO Laurent Lathieyrewill act as Sirion’s post-signature application manager.

“Joining forces with Sirion and creating a CoE in Engineering allows us to fuel innovation that makes enterprise contracts simpler, smarter and more intuitive, as well as scale to achieve a network effect of data,” said Laurent Lathieyre. “Nice and the Côte d’Azur have earned a reputation as a leading incubator for technological innovators, and the new CoE strengthens our ability to attract top engineering talent to the Sirion team. »
