(AOF) – The French Astek has informed the Atos board of its interest in Evidian, says the Journal du Dimanche. On the stock market, the Atos share gained 5.07% to 12.43 euros, thus posting one of the strongest increases in the SBF 120 index. Atos, to look at the box to make a coherent offer”, explains Julien Gavaldon, president of Astek to the newspaper.

However, he does not intend to take over Atos’ entire digital and cybersecurity business. Julien Gavaldon wants to carry a “patriotic recovery project”. The JDD specifies that it has gathered several specialists around it, such as ChapsVision, a state group, is in talks with large industrialists. Eurazeo, Tikehau and Ardian were also approached.

This branch is already the subject of many expressions of interest.

Airbus would be in preliminary discussions with Atos to take a minority stake in Evidian’s capital, Les Echos claimed at the start of the year. A few days later, Thales had indicated that it would make “no offer to take a stake in Evidian”, a spokesman for the group told Reuters. At the end of September, Atos had not responded to an offer of 4.2 billion euros in enterprise value for Evidian from Onepoint.

In June, Atos presented a split project, with on the one hand Evidian – a company present in digital transformation, big data and cybersecurity – and on the other, the rest of the scope of Atos, which includes services outsourcing, digital workspaces and professional services.

Growth hampered by recruitment

According to a study for Numeum, the digital professional organization, 79% of companies in the sector consider that their growth is hampered by the shortage of talent in the face of demand driven by digital transformation. Digital service companies forecast 5% growth for 2022. Several levers are activated by companies to attract talent, in particular remuneration, while average salaries have generally increased in the IT sector. New work organisations, career development prospects and meaningful assignments are other assets. Capgemini has therefore adopted a new agreement offering up to 70% telework to all employees. These adaptations are essential as a report from the Department of Research, Studies and Statistics (Dares) and France Strategy establishes that IT professions will be among those who will recruit the most by 2030. .
