Emirates Post to host World Mail & Express EMEA Conference in Dubai

DUBAI, 9th May, 2022 (WAM) — Emirates Post, the official postal operator and main express service provider in the United Arab Emirates, will host the World Mail & Express Europe Middle East & Africa (WMX EMEA) conference from 11th May to 12th May 2022, in Dubai.

The two-day conference, which will be attended by over 200 global leaders and feature more than 30 expert speakers, aims to give industry players the tools to build flexible and future-proof businesses by deliberating and understanding the latest trends in the e-commerce and postal sectors. The last time the WMX conference was held in the United Arab Emirates was in 2005.

As one of the speakers, Emirates Post CEO Peter Somers will describe key industry trends, the growth of e-commerce in the region and Emirates Post’s capabilities: “The post and parcels industry has changed over the years with technology and e-commerce being among the driving forces behind this change.The timing of the event could not be better, with Emirates Post continuously scaling up its efforts to strengthen its status as the premier postal logistics partner and of e-commerce in the Middle East.
