After 2022, a year of reconquest focused on revitalizing local tourist numbers, the strategic axes of the CRT Côte d’Azur for 2023 will be unveiled, always with the main objective of the sustainable growth of the Côte d’Azur tourist economy.
The Campus Sud des Métiers welcomes the Francophonies of tourism innovation
For four days, from October 17 to 20, around thirty experts from Belgium, Canada, France and Switzerland will then meet at the Campus Sud des Métiers for the Francophonies of tourism innovation. The theme of this 2022 edition? The “human transformations of tourism”.
For the past two years, tourism companies have encountered great difficulty in retaining their employees, attracting seasonal employees and recruiting new talent. With the opening of the Campus Sud des Métiers, the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur is fully committed to training and apprenticeships in order to meet the needs of Côte d’Azur companies in terms of the development of skills and professionalism. It strengthens the training offer in the Sud Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region and forges partnerships with professional organizations for this purpose.
It is therefore only natural that, in conjunction with the Tourism – Hospitality – Catering sector of the CSM, it will sign a partnership agreement on October 20 with the Club des Dirigeants – 4*5* Hotels & Palaces. The latter brings together managers from four major positions in the hotel industry: Managing Director, Human Resources Director, Administrative & Financial Director and Technical Director.
They will jointly focus on the implementation of several actions: establish a dynamic and prospective analysis of hospitality professions in order to offer training for future employees in this sector; promote and enhance the Tourism – Hospitality – Catering sector of the CSM; organize promotional events and develop joint engineering and innovation projects.
“Sustainable tourism: towards a more virtuous hotel industry” at the Village by CA
The tourism and sea sector of Crédit Agricole Provence Côte d’Azur and the Village by CA PCA is organizing a day on October 18 for the entire hotel sector: professionals, schools, communities, start-ups, suppliers, associations… On the program: conferences, business meetings, demonstration workshops and an exhibitors’ village.
The CCI Nice Côte d’Azur will be present and will offer on its stand a self-diag to be carried out on site, the means for managers to evaluate the CSR approach of their company in a few minutes. The advisers will also be able to direct them to possible aid in this area. The CCI will also speak at the conference “Hospitality, how to finance its transitions?” “.

A challenge for innovative projects in tourism
The TravelCamp Sud challenge, funded by the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, has become essential for all those carrying out innovative tourism and event projects in the South region.
To participate, project leaders must apply between 1er October and November 30, 2022 by providing a presentation slideshow and video as well as a personality test. At the end of the call for applications, 45 projects in the emerging phase will be selected according to the potential of their ideas, their stage of development and their economic impact on the territory.
At the end of the various selection phases, a jury of innovation and tourism experts will identify up to 20 winners suitable for entering incubation within Provence Travel Innovation or LINKEUS Incubation.
