This is a highlight of the new school year every year. On the theme of climate change, the Fête de la Science 2022 will be in full swing this weekend and will continue all next week. Events in 22 towns on the Côte d’Azur and eight science villages to discover science, technology and innovation in their fun and convivial aspects.
Launched on 1er October, the 31th Fête de la science will be in full swing this weekend and will continue throughout next week throughout the department. A national event which takes place every year throughout France, this 2022 edition will be placed under the theme of climate change. In the Alpes-Maritimes, this operation is a great success every year, with more than 20,000 visitors, nearly half of whom are schoolchildren. A success obtained thanks to the strong mobilization of the actors of the scientific culture (laboratories, research organizations, rectorate, companies, museums and associations), under the coordination of Université Côte d’Azur, and with the strong support of the communities.
Entirely free, this operation aims to make people discover science, technology and innovation in their playful and convivial aspects through numerous activities, experiments, exchanges and shows. In addition to a very rich program dedicated to schoolchildren with a dozen events for the pupils of the department, this year, around thirty actors mobilized in 22 municipalities on the Côte d’Azur.
Eight science villages will welcome a large public across the department, while events are scheduled in Nice, Grasse, La Trinité, Sospel, Sophia Antipolis, Menton, Cannes and Sigale.
