Italian spray equipment manufacturer Arag improves the control of pulsating nozzles (PWM) with the Flowtron On-Off and PWM solenoid valve. This uses an innovative connection with the nozzle holder, allowing faster opening/closing and greater flow.

Landini Rex4 Full-Hybrid

Landini’s Rex4 Full-Hybrid Specialized Tractor uses an electromechanical unit located between the internal combustion engine and the transmission. This rechargeable hybrid machine has up to two hours of autonomy in purely electric operation.

Arvatec Moodino

The Moodino robot from Italian Arvatec ensures the mechanical weeding of rice, including in submerged plots. Animated electrically, it has batteries recharged by solar panels giving it an autonomy of up to two months. It is guided by an RTK GPS based on georeferenced lines during sowing.

New Holland Telehandler

New Holland presents a telescopic loader equipped with an electro-hydraulic device for leveling the attachment at the end of the jib, which replaces the compensation cylinder usually used, so as to adapt the movements to the different types of attachments and to offer automation.

Cobo Vision Lane Navigation

The electronics specialist Cobo has developed a device to make a vineyard tractor autonomous based only on cameras, without using RTK GPS, radars and other Lidar. VLN (Vision Lane Navigation) uses artificial intelligence for image analysis and requires prior scanning of the tractor, implement and plot assembly.

Dieci Hybrid Boost System

The Hybrid Boost System technology allows the manufacturer Dieci to limit the power of the heat engine of a telescopic loader to 55 kW (75 hp), while offering the same performance as a 79 kW (109 hp) model. This enables the economy of the SCR depollution system to be switched to AdBlue. The reduction in power is compensated by the hybrid system and by an optimization of the hydraulic circuit.

Five Italian manufacturers (Dragon, Fissore, Fontan, Frandent and Spezia) have developed tools integrating an electric drive. This collaboration allowed them to share components in a way that reduced development time and cost. For example, Dragon offers a vineyard sprayer with electrically driven fans. Frandent has developed a tedder with electric rotor drive.
