HPE and Salesforce unveil AI and automation tools for developers

HPE announced its next step in artificial intelligence (AI) technology, launching HPE Swarm Learning and the new machine learning (ML) development system. These new tools have been deployed in an effort to improve model accuracy, address AI infrastructure issues, and improve data privacy standards.

HPE says the Swarm Learning tool is a “breakthrough AI solution” that aims to accelerate research at the edge, with uses ranging from credit card fraud detection to disease diagnosis.

HPE says the system achieves this by unifying the training of various AI models while protecting data privacy.

Swarm learning, a new approach to AI

Justin Hotard, executive vice president and general manager, said new technology has already made strides in addressing challenges in these areas. “Companies are looking to incorporate AI and machine learning to differentiate their products and services, but often struggle with the complexity of setting up the infrastructure required to build and train accurate AI models at scale. scale,” added Justin Hotard.

“HPE’s machine learning development system combines our proven end-to-end HPC solutions for deep learning with our innovative machine learning software platform in a single system, to deliver a powerful out-of-the-box solution to speed up time. valuation and results with AI. »

Currently, the ML Development System is available globally, while the Swarm Learning System is available in most regions.

Low code and automation

Meanwhile, Salesforce made a series of announcements at its TrailblazerDX 2022 conference regarding the expansion of Flow Automation Suite. Salesforce says the new tools will allow customers to quickly automate complex processes in the Salesforce Customer 360 platform and build automated solutions across Slack, Mulesoft and Tableau.

To do this, Salesforce updated its flow automation suite, which the company says can now deliver more than a trillion automations per month. “Flow’s new features give users the ability to trigger flows from analytics dashboards, use low code to easily integrate with any system, and interact with flows directly in Slack. , where people spend the most time,” said Patrick Stokes, executive vice president and general manager of Salesforce.

Additionally, Salesforce and Slack jointly announced the creation of Salesforce Platform for Slack, a new toolkit for developers to build Slack apps directly from Salesforce, as well as the beta availability of many apps spanning sales, service and marketing, all of which should be available in June of this year.

Separately, Tableau announced a series of new features within its platform, aimed at alleviating the issues developers face when organizing data and building an analytics-driven architecture. Tableau’s new features are meant to unlock more data, integrate Tableau analytics into any app, and act on data more directly in the workflow with Salesforce Flow.
