Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) refers to a type of artificial intelligence that possesses the ability to understand, learn, and apply knowledge across a wide range of tasks and domains, much like human intelligence. Unlike specialized AI systems that are designed for specific tasks, AGI aims to replicate the general cognitive capabilities of a human, allowing it to excel in various activities, adapt to new challenges, and demonstrate a level of understanding and creativity comparable to human beings.
