The DxO PhotoLab 6 RAW processing software raises the bar even higher in terms of denoising, thanks to AI technologies. DxO launches the DxO PhotoLab 6 RAW processing software. In addition to its innovative DeepPRIME XD denoising technology, this new major version introduces advanced color management with extended color space, powerful new retouching tools, and improvements in the ergonomics of its photo library. DeepPRIME XD is a next-generation denoising technology that uses artificial intelligence to optimize noise reduction and detail enhancement. The software also incorporates a new and improved color management system thanks to an expanded color space, new retouching tools eagerly awaited by photographers, as well as a photo library that allows convenient and even faster image management.
DeepPRIME XD is based on the principle of neural networks trained using billions of image samples that can offer photographers an improvement of more than 2.5 f-stops. For example, in terms of noise, color, and clarity, an image taken at ISO 4000 will almost look like an image shot at ISO 500. And, by his role fundamental in the RAW conversion process, DeepPRIME XD improves the range dynamic, providing more flexibility in low-light conditions. The original DeepPRIME mode has been retained for faster processing or for images that simply require fewer corrections. With PhotoLab 6, DxO has redesigned color processing algorithms to push the boundaries of color management, while offering a new space much more extensive and colorimetric. Added to this is soft proofing, which guarantees high precision throughout the workflow. Thus, photographers will be able to make their corrections with the assurance that their images will be faithfully reproduced, both on a high-definition screen and on an art print. Is based on the principle of neural networks trained using billions of image samples which can offer photographers an improvement of more than 2.5 stops.
The new ReTouch tool in DxO PhotoLab 6 considerably improves the possibilities of repair and duplication, far beyond what other repair software offers. RAW processing. Photographers can now change the sampling source by flipping, rotating, and scaling, or using brushes to refine the area they retouch. Based on its simple and effective Photo Library module, the software offers additional Exif and IPTC metadata fields, project prioritization as well as color labels. The management and organization of images are thus facilitated, without clutter with complex and time-consuming catalogs.
